What this website does not do
This belongs at the beginning, because it makes most of a customary privacy policy unnecessary:
- No cookies are set.
- No profiling takes place — no Google Analytics, no advertising networks, no tracking pixels, no recognition of individuals across visits.
- No social networks are embedded.
- Fonts, scripts and images are stored on the same server as the site. In particular, no Google Fonts are loaded — your IP address is therefore not passed to any third party.
This is why the site has no cookie consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.
Browser storage
The site stores exactly one entry in your browser's local storage:
| Name | Content | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| ba-lang | de, it, en, fr, es, nl or pl | Remembers the chosen language so that it is set again on your next visit | until you clear your browser storage |
The entry contains no personal data, is not transmitted and serves usability alone. You can delete it at any time via your browser settings.
Visiting the site (server logs)
As with every website you open, your browser transmits technical details to the server delivering the page: IP address, time of the request, address requested, volume of data transferred, browser type and operating system.
Your IP address is not recorded in full. The server shortens it before writing it to the log: with IPv4 the last block is replaced by a random value, with IPv6 the last 88 bits are obscured. The logs therefore never contain an address that leads back to you.
- Purpose
- Delivery of the page, operational security, defence against attacks
- Legal basis
- Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in secure operation
- Delivered by
- Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The servers are located in Germany; no transfer to third countries takes place as a result.
- Processing agreement
- Contract under Art. 28 GDPR, concluded on 10 August 2026
- Retention period
- 7 days; after that the server deletes the logs automatically
Enquiry form
When you submit the form in the contact section, we process the details you enter there. Only company, contact person and email address are mandatory; all other fields are optional and help us to price your enquiry without further questions.
Details collected
- About the enquiry: type of enquiry, process, article, annual quantity, material, colour, required-from date, food contact, IML label, existing tool
- About you: company, country, contact person, email address
- Purpose
- Handling and answering your enquiry, preparing a quotation
- Legal basis
- Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — pre-contractual measures at your request
- Recipients
- No one outside Band Alpin GmbH. The form is received on our own webspace at Hetzner Online GmbH; the details are stored there and delivered to us by email. No external form service is involved.
- Retention period
- Twelve months from receipt of the enquiry. After that the details are deleted, unless a commercial or tax retention obligation applies — if your enquiry leads to an order, the statutory periods apply.
Your details are not passed to third parties for advertising purposes.
Contact by email or telephone
If you write or call, we process your details in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where a contract or its initiation is concerned, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Transfers outside the EU
None take place. The website is delivered by Hetzner Online GmbH from servers in Germany, and the enquiry form runs on the same server. No further services are embedded — no content whatsoever is loaded from external servers when the page opens. Your data therefore do not leave the European Economic Area, and neither standard contractual clauses nor an adequacy decision are required.
Your rights
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access to the data we process (Art. 15)
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16)
- Erasure (Art. 17)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18)
- Data portability (Art. 20)
- Objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21)
